BRC as subcontractor of USAID/BRITE (Business Regulatory, Investment, and Trade Environment Program) implemented by Chemonics, carried out a Business Climate, Legal, and Institutional Reform (BIZCLIR) assessment in Moldova, focused on five areas: 

1) Trading Across Borders, 

2) Protecting Investors, 

3) Starting a Business, 

4) Paying Taxes, and 

5) Dealing with Construction Permits. Based on this assessment 

BRITE project designed a reform action plan. The assessment included discussions with more than 100 stakeholders and ended with development of specific recommendations to streamline business environment.
